Having problems making the fireworks fly using IE or Firefox with the latest Java Update?

If you are still using XP - you should be able to click on the JAVA icon in the center of the screen, click Remember and the fireworks should begin.

For Windows 7 and up - follow this step-by-step guide for a workaround to the issue.
1. Go to your control panel and click on "Java"
2. Click on the Security tab at the top. Be sure your security level is on high
3. Below the security level you'll see "exception site list" Click on Edit Site List and in the first line under location enter - http://mlski.net/
Click on Add

Click on Edit Site List again - and add
http://mlski.net/FUN/july4/lady_liberty/liberty_dl.htm

Click on Add and OK then OK on the Security box.

Refresh the Lady Liberty page.

You may be asked to accept running the page - click continue, in the next box you'll see a small check box to the left asking you to accept the risk and run the application - check that box and ok and that will begin your fireworks display

(if you have a Chrome or Safari Web browser installed on your system, that should work fine to activate the Do It Yourself Fireworks over Lady Liberty)
